A very nice review

Recived a wonderful reivew of my book the other day. Four star.

Forbidden Love to the Rescue By Walker Long on August 19, 2015 I enjoy stories about unconventional or "forbidden" relationships. I guess I like the romantic notion of Love Conquering All or something. I am also a fan of the Knight In Shining Armor story, where a new love comes along to save the heroin from a life of loneliness and struggle. Probably for the same reason. This short novel by M.S. Tarot combines them both, with some explicit sex thrown in as a bonus. Our hero has been carrying a torch for his naer-do-well brother's ex-wife for years. When he sees how she is lonely, overworked, and badly in need of home repair assistance he is only too happy to lend a hand. The relationship develops gradually. No wham-bam thank you ma'am here, but there is a clogged drain, a little babysitting, and lots of light-hearted, flirtatious comments (some amusing, some corny). The story sticks to a first person narration, which I felt helped the flow. The narrator is a careful observer and we get to know the other characters through him. We see the sadness and the inner strength of the lonely, single mother. The brother (and ex-husband) is painted as a bit of a douche, which helps us root for the budding relationship (although the narrator's distaste for his brother and the brother's new girlfriend was a little over the top). Overall a good read for those who prefer their uplifting romance with a touch of taboo and a side of smart-ass.
